You can learn to recycle your tired, old, beloved clothing into something fashion forward and new! Sign ups are tomorrow night!

This is for anyone living in the Sarasota, Tampa, St Petersburg, Venice, North Port (South West Florida) area:

Tomorrow night is our Surface Design Guild January Meeting ( 14th at 6 pm at Waldemere St Fire House, Upstairs) and I will be giving a powerpoint presentation on The History of Fashion!

It starts off with cave women and ends with Miley Cyrus- showing how nothing much has changed!

I will have examples of clothing that can be made if you sign up to take my "Cut Up Your Closet Workshop" that starts Thursday, January 16th 8:30-4:00 and continues Friday, January 17th 9:00-4:00 and finally at our PlayDay January 26 we will meet at 1pm to do any final discussion on embellishment, fitting and your sewing results.

The cost for the workshop is $30 and includes a Field Trip to the Honore St Goodwill (1 pm on January 15) to learn what to look for when choosing garments to refashion.
