It almost slipped my mind that it was Mini Quilt Monday but I remembered in time to get started and finished with a little beauty featuring a vintage illustration of a Anthropomorphic Rose Queen printed on cotton and then patchworked and hand and machine stitched with batting and bound in my raw edge style.
can you say run on sentence?
I used up some leftovers from other quilts and enjoyed the slap dash excitement of instant grat-if-i-quilt-ation!
It has been overcast and gloomy and I enjoyed the almost forgotten rain and growl of thunder as I sewed this up (in about 4 hours).
After this past weekend which was filled to the brim with spinning, beading, knitting and crocheting- and lots of great food & conversation, I am just about ready to call it a day!

Worn out is what I am....but I'll be rested up ( soon) and ready to get with the flower power this week!
