Yesterday I received my swap box from Lucinda and I have to admit that it is the best swap box I have ever received! I had tears of Joy in my eyes when I saw all the packages and as I opened them one by one, trying to guess which held the quilt, I felt overwhelmed by her love, generosity and kindness.
She seems to be a long lost sister because what else could possibly explain the way that she captured my spirit, my heart, my favorite things all in one quilt?
I am blown away by her needle skills and use of color and fabrics to convey a woodland scene replete with mushrooms, gnome, faerie, chickens and a beloved blue/aqua chair.
The sky appears to be settling into dusk but I like to think that it's my own planet B612, just like The Little Prince. Of course my planet has more than a rose and a sheep- it has chooks, shrooms, chairs and the finest doll quilts in all the Galaxy!
