To me Flickr is just that- a view into a tiny world where folks share their lives and art and food and photos.

I use it for inspiration- putting in words to search images and sometimes I find art that takes my breath away! Such as this work by Kim McCabe.

Painted directly on to the postcards they speak to me in a way that I find almost spellbinding. She sells her work on Etsy and these are long gone but I can keep them in my mind's eye forever once having viewed them. I love the age of the cards with the fresh perspective of using them for a canvas. I love small things. Art doesn't have to be gigantic in size to be appreciated in a big way.
