Morning has broken and I am still bleary eyed with sleep.
I grabbed the camera to shakily take a picture to illustrate what I worked on for a bit last night.
Just to get a little needle time.
I had gone to my friend's house for our monthly Paper Doll Play Time and it was wonderful.
We laughed, we cried, we pondered and perused.
When Arty chicks get together we do have fun and the energy is collectively creative and nurturing.
It has been a long Summer with most of them on the road, but we were all together yesterday and it was nice.I had missed that. The circle was closed so to speak and as we hummed along to the soundtrack from Mama Mia, we had a delightful time talking and working on our shadow boxes.
I had a roll of wallpaper border that I used for my background and added the ubiquitous sheet music to the inner sides and then I started working on my Santo Paper Doll using my new stamp from Invoke Arts.
I am not quite finished yet but here is mine so far.
She is Santos Of The Shadows.
I have a few more things to add to it- namely glitter and a little glass slide window.. I'll work on it later...
I have some things to get ready to mail and then I might get over to the beach today for a little walk in the sunshine...
Have a Happy Monday,
Love & Stitches,
Calamity Kim
