Thank you for commenting on yesterday's post.
I really meant to say, that I want you to say how you feel, and talk to me.
With me.
Not having comments is like people coming over and silently taking a seat and never saying a word- like they are just watching me and I feel like I am wasting my time or what's the point?
The funny thing about Blogging is that you are sharing something so deeply personal with anyone who happens by- like leaving your diary out in the mailbox.
Should anyone happen upon it they may dislike what they find and be too polite to say so, but to enjoy it and then sit down on the front porch, have a slice of cake and never introduce themselves is just too much.
That's all.
The friends that I have made here and the encouragement I receive from you who do take the time is a blessing.
This life is difficult enough without bringing more grief upon ourselves, so I don't expect you all to contribute all the time, but don't think for one moment that your opinion is not important or that I don't need to know what you have to say.
Blogs are a dialog between writers and readers and how wonderful is that?
Imagine if we could have read our favorite author's books online and then actually discussed it with them.
I wish I could have had a conversation with J M Barrie, L Frank Baum, Laura E Wilder, Jane Austen, E B White and so many others.
We live in a wonderful time.
I sometimes read Blogs and can only thing of one word:
Excellent!
Wonderful!
Enchanting!
Crap!
Hysterical!
Sad!
Awesome!
I think sometimes one word is fine.
The point is to reach out and share.
Otherwise- why waste your time?
I don't expect you to love everything I do or just compliment me- that makes me feel embarrassed- I am not glad handing you or asking you to just say anything to be nice. I want to sit on the porch with you and share and talk and laugh and comfort each other. Be friends.
If I could get you all to send me $10 each that would be great too!
Hahahaha! That's a joke.
Butter'n you up for something, right?
Remember on Grey's Anatomy- love me, choose me!
*sigh*
Today is a different day.
All I can say is ack!
I am full of pollen and can't get the frog from my throat today.
Please read quietly to yourselves.
You don't have to say anything.
I just want to know you are there sometimes.
:) love and stitches,
