Quirks x 6 or What Me Quirkie?!!!!

Cheryl Tagged me for a MeMe called: 6 Quirks and I have spent some time dragging my feet over it. First of all, nobody cares about my odd quirks- do they?
Is that interesting?
Maybe if I embroider them a bit... anyway, here goes:

1. I hate over head lights! I will turn it off in a heartbeat! I find them harsh and glaring and totally uncomfortable.
2. I sleep with a stuffed animal. No, not Fred! I used to sleep with Rufus the bear for about 18 years until his ears had been stitched back on and then his neck got a little loose. Now I hold on to Otis the cat. It started after my Son Mark died. It's comforting and cheaper than a shrink.
3. I only drink cold drinks with a straw. I am not sure when this habit started but, now, when I try to drink something without one, it just doesn't seem right.
4. I don't talk or want to hear anyone else talk until after I have had at least 1/2 a cup of coffee. Don't...say...anything!
5. I don't have a lot of shoes, but you can find them all over the house. There are at least 2 pairs of my shoes in every room of the house- or so Fred says! I don't care where they are as long as you don't put them on the bed! Even if packing- don't you dare! I guess it's the gypsy in me- very superstitious about this being bad luck.
6. I am a magpie! If I am walking the dog and find something flattened and rusty in the road- like a bottle cap or bit of interesting metal- I have to pick it up and bring it home. If someone is walking with me, I have to defend my actions with " good for mixed media", which usually makes them roll their eyes and slap their forehead and say: "of course!"

Now, I don't want to actually tag anyone- unless you want to do it- like Natalie, Amanda, Carol, Barb, Vanessa and you! I am not sure if MeMe's are fun or boring or what? I have met my obligation with Cheryl- now I can sleep at night...***** Ok, so Natalie did this Quirkie MeMe and totally cracked me up! I have a love/hate thing with MeMe's- I really hate them when tagged- I would rather choose the ones I want to do- and besides, I stink at them!  am up to -what? D on the Alphabet MEME????
