Birches

I wish we had trees like this where I live. I miss real trees. Palms and Florida oaks with their tiny leaves just don't do it for me! Thankfully I have Flickr at my fingertips when I miss the trees... I am sewing and will have some cool stuff to show & tell tomorrow! Hope all is well with you and yours on this fine Sunday.


I'd like to go by climbing a birch tree
And climb black branches up a snow-white trunk
Toward heaven, till the tree could bear no more,
But dipped its top and set me down again.
That would be good both going and coming back.
