I just wanted to share this recipe that I found in the March issue of Martha Stewart Living.
I have a Surface Design Meeting tonight and wanted to have dinner ready for Fred so that I can go be in the "wearable art fashion show" at the meeting and not feel as though I am neglecting him in any way.
(When I got back from Augusta the refrigerator light had shut itself off because there was nothing to shine on- the only think inside was the bottle of ketchup and a container of cottage cheese and the other lonely condiments. He was Googling ketchup, confectioner's sugar and gummy worms for a recipe when I got home. Poor guy!)

This is the cover- in case you don't "prescribe" to it. I am under Dr's orders to get several magazines. They lower my blood pressure and make me happy.
Can't afford fresh flowers every week? Just open to page 187.
My other "prescribed reading" is Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion.

I opened the mail box yesterday and did a little gig and immediately made a cup of tea, curled up on the couch and sighed as I opened the first page and there was Heather Bailey on the contents page! I went back and looked at the cover and yes! there was heather's fabric made into bags and hanging on the backs of chairs! It's a party!
Oh, how delightful! Maybe Spring is here?!
The template for the paper bird is included and the wings are cleverly cut from Arizona
tea cans.
I love the wool strawberry tablecloth weights!
They are so sweet and remind me of my favorite pincushions.
I quickly took these shots just to give you an idea of why you need to dose yourself with these magazine.
The images are bright, happy and celebrate living the Artful Life.
I almost feel like I can walk through my backyard over to Heather's and set a pie down on the table and twirl about in my apron and here the laughter and birds singing a Disney melody.
Maybe I hear Ann Wood's birds tweet tweeting? I am so thrilled to find fellow Bloggers and Flickr friends in my favorite publications! It really makes me feel like anything is possible in this wonderful world.
All you need is the right attitude- the right perspective and anything is POSSIBLE!
Like, if I keep repeating " I can finish this project, I can finish this project, I can..."

Stumble It!
