So, the meatloaf head man became a New Year's Tradition at my house even though the olive eyeballs really grossed Troy out.

When my son Troy was little I made the first Meatloaf head to try to get him to eat meatloaf. All he wanted was pb&j or ABC's 123's.

There was a huge amount of Princess Diana mags too, with some collections of clippings of her death. Each marked .99. I wondered why the person had donated their collection, but, that's the Goodwill Way, I suppose, ya never know.

So yesterday I stopped at the Goodwill Bookstore, on my way to Target and I found treasure!
I have seen the Play With Your Food books by Joost Elffers but I had not ever seen this.
With my love for anthropomorphic vintage stuff I kinda made a small cry of joy, sorta like a squeak! and looking left and right to make sure no one had heard, I grabbed this and immediately was filled with the glow only good Thrifting can bring!
My brother, the record mogul says it's better than drugs, when he scores a fine stack of vinyl.
I agree, The joy of seeing what no one else saw.
An old mccoy vase, milkglass, cakestands, crocheted doilies with flowers in 3D, Johnson Brothers Transferware, Homer Laughlin restaurant dishes, a bag of sewing ephemera. What ever, it's the thrill of the hunt. The glory of the score. The shining bags of swag. The booty. The Treasure.

I love this apron too! It's so cheerful!
My Mom never made donuts.
I've never made donuts.
I usually only eat them about every 3 years.
I love them.
But.
They are too sweet, too empty, I have to eat a dozen to feel full!
Maybe I should just have one a month instead.
How do you buy just one donut?
