Ragdoll Jane
She was not sleeping well, as she searched her mind for the first sentence...oh, how to begin?
Another novel concerning love's fickle heart.
Perhaps another cup of tea and a short walk through the gardens to still her mind and let her thoughts blossom...

She is such a sweetie! A perfect companion for a girl! Or a perfect quiltinspector for people who -like me- don't feel too safe around cats :-)

Yup.. The first sentence is tough. Actually, the first paragraph is killer. But it's worth the effort, because it sets the tone for the whole story. Working through it helps *you* to know where you're going. It's like kneading a new lump of clay to the right consistency. You take the time to prepare it and get a feel for what it "wants to be". Tell your sweet, beautiful little girl there to stick with it. The world wants to hear what she has to say! ;)

Oh dear, she does bear a burden, deep thoughts and other musings must keep her up late into the night. Do give the darling a cup of tea, and let her sit in the garden.
