Show me pictures if you do make one- like my friend Amanda from Australia- she just started a blog called Needle and Spoon and has a picture of her Advent Elf here. It looks like she is making another nice doll too-its going to be red & aqua, my favorite colors!

I saw these lovely dolls on eBay- last night after watching the newest episode of Moonlight- I couldn't watch anything else- I had to leave the room for the video show full of accidents labeled as world's greatest idiots caught on film- or whatever he was watching...so, I drifted on ebay and did win a lovely sewing box -pink with a poodle on top! Have you seen the "Princess" sewing boxes? So lovely. So Shabby Dabby delicious! I didn't bid on any dolls, but I do enjoy looking at them. I will have several more to show you soon- I am caught up with laundry and cleaning today- then the Art Day is tomorrow- I will have pictures on Monday- wouldn't ya know it's a 50% chance of rain tomorrow? really...after months of drought...oh, the calamity!

Kim--the sewing box is very sweet. I haven't even looked at ebay for a while, which sounds virtueous until I tell you about the joys of amazon prime...no shipping, just click & it's yours. So tempting!

Hi there! It's been a while - things are just so busy at the moment, not much time for crafting and blogging. I, for one, have downloaded your elf-pattern - thank you again - and have every intention of making him. I'll let you know when something happens in that area. I think I will keep him for myself and use the pockets for cards with little Christmas-preparation-tasks - one for every day of advent...

THe sewing box is so adorable! I haven't been to ebay in so long, sans a month ago when I bought a cover for my phone. Oh so boring. I'm still trying to catch up with you - I've missed you!

I'm not here from the Cloth Doll Connection as I've never made a doll. Yours are so beautiful and inspiring and one of these days I'll get brave and try one of the projects myself. I'm thinking my grandchildren would love to have one.

I read your blog (as you know) just because I love you and what you share with all of us. You are fun but you're real too--something I respect and appreciate.

This is my first visit and I didn't come for the doll pattern either. I just loved your dolls and your site. The Flickr side show was beautiful and inspired. Now, my go make art...Thanks for the inspiration!
